Electronic civil engineer, specialized in Communications of Universidad Federico Santa María de Chile, with a post graduate degree in Management, Marketing and Finance of Adolfo Ibáñez University. Current CEO of Microsoft Chile.
 
He was the comptroller engineer of the maritime telecommunications Project of the General Directorate of the Maritime Territory, in Valparaíso. In 1988 he joined IBM, where he held positions such as Product Manager, Development and Business Manager and Andean Region Marketing Manager. Later, he was appointed Marketing Programs Manager, and then Business Line Manager at the subsidiary located at Boca Ratón, in the United States.
 
Between 1996 and 1998 he was appointed CEO of Inacom Corporation, in Brazil, and then CEO of that company’ South Region.
 
After his work at Inacom, he joined Compaq Computer Corp. Chile in 1998, as Large Clients commercial director. Between 1999 and 2002 he was appointed CEO of the company in Chile. His labor experience before Microsoft was as CEO of Forestal Terranova.
