FERNANDO PRIETO DOMÍNGUEZ

Civil engineer of Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María, with postgraduate studies at Universidad de Chile, and management improvement studies at the Massachussets Institute of Technology (MIT). At present he is a businessman, director and strategic consultant for private companies.
 
He started professionally at IBM de Chile, he was a founding partner of Optimisa, former CEO for ten years. After one year and a half at Coasin, he worked for six years at the software company Oracle, being responsible of its operations in Chile and Perú, between 1997 and 2000. At the end of 2000 he was promoted to President of Oracle in Mexico, holding such position for two years, then he was appointed Vice-President of the South Region of Oracle Latin America.
 
He was President of the Chilean Association of Information Technologies companies ACTI; Director of the American Chamber of Commerce (Amcham) on 2000, and Vice-President of the Mexican Association of Information Technologies companies (AMITI), on 2001 and 2002.
