Electric Civil Engineer of Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (1976), Doctor in Computer Science, Edimburg University, Scotland (1983).

 

He was National Coordinator of the Links Program for 10 years. He has carried out several research projects financed by Fondecyt, Fondef, PNUD, World Bank, Microsoft and others.

 

Consultant in informatics education policy for the World Bank, he has made several publications in magazines, conferences and some chapters of books. He is currently informatics education policy advisor to the Minister of Education, and professor of Universidad de La Frontera. He works at the Institute of Informatics Education of U. de La Frontera, at Fundación País Digital and at TIDE S.A.
